In preparation for opening our doors to the public and by complying with government and health officials, eye candy opticianry has instituted the following procedures:
We will be limiting the number of people in our shop at any given time. In order to do that, we are asking everyone to make an appointment. Furthermore, we are requesting that only the customer and, if necessary, a single caretaker be present.
Please enter the shop wearing a mask and use the hand sanitizer provided before starting the appointment. Similarly, the staff will be wearing protective gear.
While shopping for new eyewear, an optician will assist you in the process. Once a frame and lenses have been selected, measurements will be taken with the appropriate precautions in place.
Customers will be contacted when their glasses come back from the lab. Again, an appointment needs to be made for pick up. If preferred, curbside delivery is available.
As mentioned above, the staff will be wearing appropriate protective gear.
Customers will be asked to confirm their current health status.
All surfaces are sanitized — door knobs, dispensing tables and counters, and any equipment that is touched — between customers.
Per instructions from our frame manufacturers, frames that have been touched, tried on, and discarded will be washed with warm soapy water and placed in a UVC box for further sanitation before being returned to the display drawers.
