Vox is a liberal American news website owned by Vox Media. The website was founded in April 2014 by Ezra Klein, Matt Yglesias, and Melissa Bell, and is noted for its concept of explanatory journalism. Vox's media presence also includes a YouTube channel, several podcasts, and a show presented on Netflix.

Vox Pop is a shortened form of the Latin phrase 'vox populi' which means the 'voice of the people.' In 1932, Vox Pop started with just two men, an idea, and a microphone. As producers Jerry Belcher and Harry Grier quizzed random pedestrians on the streets of Houston. VoxPop is a peer-to-peer (P2P) games distribution & development platform. Vox Pop is WAMC's live call-in talk program. Guests with expertise in areas ranging from astronomy to politics speak with WAMC's hosts and answer questions posed by WAMC listeners.
