Based on current rules in 2020, the price of insulin could jump up and down during the four phases of Part D coverage (Deductible, Initial Coverage, Coverage Gap/Donut Hole, Catastrophic). But the new Part D Senior Savings Model could level out those costs and save Medicare beneficiaries quite a bit of money.
